Holistic Wellness vs. Traditional Wellness
According to WebMD, these are the differences between Holistic Wellness vs. Traditional Wellness:
“The primary difference between Holistic Medicine and Traditional Medicine is that the Holistic approach is a form of healing that considers the whole person — body, mind, spirit, and emotions. The Traditional approach focuses on symptoms and typically uses pharmacological prescriptions and/or surgery to remedy the symptoms.”
When our body is in homeostasis we feel better and are truly physically better. This can only be accomplished through a holistic approach to wellness.
My Holistic Wellness practice is focused on Mindfulness and developing habits that keep us happy and well every day of our lives. There are only two things that will kill us in this lifetime (outside of an unforeseen accident or someone intentionally killing us) – Those two things are stress and loneliness. I work to help others learn and implement what I have done to reduce and work toward eliminating stress and loneliness from my life.
Throughout my life I have had multiple health issues that have helped me learn some life-lessons that would have been difficult for me to learn without them. I was able to bring my body into full remission from cancer without any Traditional medicine. I learned how to listen to my body and make lifestyle changes that were effective in eliminating the cancer cells from my body. I am full of gratitude for living in this time when science is aligning with holistic wellness.
While there is never one single solution to any challenge or problem, I have discovered what works for me and is also working for most of my clients by evaluating complete systems. I treat systems, not symptoms. My intention is to share what I have learned with anyone who is willing to listen. I wish for everyone to live their happiest and best life.
In addition to Meditation, Energetic Healing, and diet, there are some products/supplements that I have discovered to help myself and others. The use of two of these supplements, and the practice of healthy habits, keep me well. My mind stays clear and focused on being in a state of happiness, and helping others to be happy also.
